My role in these creations was not only limited to performance, but it also included preparation and mounting, and it was not until I was in my mid-teenage years that I realized that my place in the making of entertainment was backstage. I began to write poetry, songs, short stories and scripts. I became particularly interested in the making and economics of television shows and institutions. Partly influenced by a new wave of Argentinean independent television producers, I was initiated in scriptwriting for TV dramas. I began to look at them analytically and became concerned with daily audience rating reports and estimates. At the age of sixteen, I was already passionate about my vocation, and had decided I would pursue a career in media production and communication studies.
